He was so pissed that he forgot that he was posting his letter to the INTERNET, of all places lol. But I'm not surprised. My fav line is "The self proclaimed king"...didn't they proclaim him the King, fully equipped with a crown and keys to the city. Not to mention the actions of the fans, in reaction to his decision. The combination of the two have completely knocked Cleveland off the map....again.

ReplyDeleteokay so when a parent has PTSD, they can very easily pass that on to their children--it's called cross generational PTSD. the child who gets the PTSD from their parent, doesn't take on a milder form of it, but rather, takes on the PTSD as if they were the individual actually abused: "it can be very difficult to separate the effects of the direct abuse as a first generation (G1) survivor from the effects of being a second generation G2." with that in mind, there is no type of trauma that doctors don't list as a cause of PTSD--rape, murder, physical abuse, witnessing abusive situations etc--that didn't happen during slavery. i mean, you get PTSD as "a result of a terribly frightening, life-threatening, or otherwise highly unsafe experience." it would be nonsensical to believe that the enslaved Africans were not suffering from some form of PTSD. so now, we have entire generations of enslaved Africans suffering from PTSD and passing it onto their children. on top of that, even after the enslaved Africans were physically emancipated, the trauma didn't stop, there was still rapes, murders, beatings, physical limitations etc. so from generation to generation...from plantations to civil rights movements to crack houses, this psychological trauma has been passed on. think about it. we all have that one thing that set our parents off when we were kids...like running down the grocery store aisle got us the worst ass whooping ever. why? because during slavery, understanding our physical limitations was key to our survival. on top of the second-hand trauma we have from our ancestors, we have also acquired trauma from new found abusive--black on black crime, drug overdoses etc. to me, now it's like, we're harboring so much trauma inside of our spirits, we've been fighting so many battles on so many levels, do people even have ears anymore? i mean can they really hear you? or is it just easier to look at your blog and look at the pictures than it is to have to process anything that would require them to deal with their own internal realities?
