The SHAME of It ALL...

The following is the INITIAL STATEMENT Syracuse head coach Jim Boeheim
gave when confronted by reporters in regards to the sexual molestation
allegations that became known to the public about his very close friend
and longtime coaching staff member Bernie Fine. It was actually more of
a verbal assault-n-diatribe towards the ACCUSER when you take into account
the things that He alleges the accuser of being guilty of So passionately.

"This is alleged to have occurred ... what?” Boeheim asked late Thursday night.
“Twenty years ago? Am I in the right neighborhood? It might be 26 years ago?
So, we are supposed to what? Stop the presses 26 years later? For a false
allegation? For what I absolutely believe is a false allegation? I know he's
lying about me seeing him in his hotel room. That's a lie. If he's going to
tell one lie, I'm sure there's a few more of them.”

"I never have been in Bernie Fine's hotel room in my life,” Boeheim said.
“This is what, 16 to 18 years ago, or whatever it is? But I don't recall ever
walking into any of my assistant coaches' rooms. Now, could I have once ...
one time? I have a pretty good recollection of things, but I don't ever
recollect ever walking into Bernie Fine's hotel room. Ever.”

“I know Bobby,” Boeheim said. “He was one of 300 ball boys we’ve had.
This kid ended up being a babysitter for Bernie. He babysat Bernie's kids.
That's why he was on the trips. He'd babysit. The kid only traveled, to my
knowledge, if he was babysitting Bernie's kids. This is when he was 18 yrs old.
He was helping to babysit the kids. That's the only time I know about, from
talking with Bernie.”

Asked what Davis’ possible motivation would be to tell his disturbing story
at this time, Boeheim hesitated not at all.

“Here's why,” he said. “The Penn State thing came out and the kid behind this
is trying to get money. He's tried before. And now he's trying again.
If he gets this, he's going to sue the university and Bernie. What do you think
is going to happen at Penn State? You know how much money is going to be involved
in civil suits? I'd say about $50 million. That's what this is about. Money.”

"Bernie helped a lot of kids, a lot of kids,” he said. “The Post-Standard and
the university talked to those other kids (in 2003). None of them corroborated
the story, at all. I know some of those kids. They've told me, 'Hey, Coach.
Bernie helped me. He cared about me. He knew I needed help and he helped me.'

"You need to go to your people down there at the paper. They investigated this
for four months. Do they remember that? And they found ... what?
They investigated this and found nothing. They talked to Bernie's neighbors and
friends ... everybody. They found nothing. Your paper would whitewash nothing.
Don't you agree? They had nothing. They could not write a story. They found zero.”

NOW fast-forward to a 3rd Accuser going public with sexual assault charges
against Bernie Fine, a "LEAKED" recorded telephone conversation between ONE
of the fisrt 2 accusers and Bernie Fine's WIFE along with a televised OTL
Special detailing this accuser's personal-n-intimate revelations regarding
his PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP with Bernie Fine... And you have the following:


Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim said he supported the university's decision to fire
his longtime assistant and expressed regret for his initial statements that
might have been "insensitive to victims of abuse."

"The allegations that have come forth today are disturbing and deeply troubling," Boeheim said in a statement released by the school. "I am personally very shocked because I have never witnessed any of the activities that have been alleged. I believe the university took the appropriate step tonight. What is most important is that this matter be fully investigated and that anyone with information be supported to come forward so that the truth can be found. I deeply regret any statements I made that might have inhibited that from occurring or been insensitive to victims of abuse."

The REAL TROUBLING THING about His statement is that it was a Prepared-n-Scripted
PR Statement that he was reading from !!! It wasn't a Sincere & Heart-felt APOLOGY
whatsoever BUT That Initial Statement he gave STR8 BLASTING the Accuser which was
about 5 Times Longer than this Prepared Statement was TOTALLY UNSCRIPTED and voiced
with Furious ANGER-n-VIGOR of All-Out DISGUST that someone would even HINT-or-DARE
make such an accusation against his Longtime Friend & coaching staff member was
Actually How Jim Boeheim really Felt with ALL of His HEART, SOUL and INNATE BEING.

Can any individual really know somebody for over 40 years and call that person
a close & dear friend of his to everyone that they know but in turn don't have a clue
whatsoever that SAID Very Close friend is a PEDOPHILE and AVID CHILD MOLESTER

THE SHAME OF IT ALL...

Ohhhh and ONE LAST direct quote from Syracuse basketball head coach Jim Boeheim:


"This matter was fully investigated by the university in 2005 and it was determined
that the allegations were unfounded. I have known Bernie Fine for more than 40 yrs.
I have never seen or witnessed anything to suggest that he would been involved in
any of the activities alleged. Had I seen or suspected anything, I would have taken
action. Bernie has my full support."

HOW can a university actually FULLY INVESTIGATE a Very Serious CRIMINAL OFFENSE
that one of their university's highly regarded employees is THE CENTER OF ?!!?

If this was say John Thompson when he was at Georgetown University instead, would he
be afforded the SAME LUXURY of keeping his job and NOT HAVING His FACE plastered
over every known news and media outlets throughout the U.S. on a continuous basis ?!!?

Again... THE SHAME OF IT ALL !!!
