That BEING LeBron James as a Cleveland Cavalier Player
who also doubled as the #1 Superstar player in the NBA.
The Cavs has had the best regular season record for the
past 2 seasons but knowledgeable NBA followers know that
BEING the best team in the post-season is what wins NBA
Championships... NOT Regular season wins, stats & hoopla.
There is an EXTREMELY Long Line of #1 Seeds in the NBA
over it's history who haven't won a NBA Title (Too Many)
LeBron James couldn't even convince HIS BOI to come to
the Cleveland Cavaliers with Byron Scott as Head Coach!!!
Chris Bosh decided to go with D-Wade down in Miami to try
and win some RINGS since Phil Jackson is leaving in 2011
As long as Phil is coaching Kobe, the Lakers are STILL
the favorites to win the NBA Title next year (No Doubt)
LeBron will be making his announcement on BSPN tomorrow
about where he plans on signing his next NBA contract...
My OPINIONS about that being done are the following:
If he was staying in Cleveland...
WHY would he need to have a National Press Conference ?!?
Is New York REALLY going to get what they always wanted...
Is Jay-Z really a big influence on LeBron NBA Future ?!?
Did LeBron going to No. 6 really mean Chi-Town Bound !!!
Will LeBron decide to make a Real-n-Legit BIG THREE by
going down to South Beach and running with HIS Boyz ?!!?
Whatever LeBron James decides to do IT WILL say a whole
lot about HOW LeBron views himself as a NBA Player in
regards to HIS Legacy-n-NBA Brand over the next 5 years.
I PERSONALLY believe LeBron's best chance at winning a
NBA Championship is having a BOSS Point Guard to run with
and it GETS No Better than D-Rose as far as BOSS Goes !!!
chicago is a good fit but noone wants to be in jordans shadow so that wont happen. its gonne be the big 3 winning 5 in a row but not the next year i dont think they will have to have a year to learn each other and get some good role players who will take a paycut for a chance to win a championship
ReplyDeleteE, the layout is Boss! I initially believed that LeBron would sign with Chicago, like yourself, I felt that Derrick Rose, Joakim Noah and a power forward (either Bosh or Boozer, who they eventually signed) would fair well for LeBron w/o having to hear the "he teamed up with Wade" stuff that would damage his legacy.
ReplyDeleteOf course with me being a Knick fan I wanted to see him sign w/ New York.
I cannot see him signing with New Jersey. That would be worse than staying in Cleveland.
I read an article on Deadspin.com entitled LeBron James Is A Cocksucker. Hilarious read, check it out. He has taken this signing to an entirely different level, but, then again, his entry into the league set the stage for this kind of show.
We shall see what LeBron decides in a just a few.
E...this is slick man...
ReplyDelete'Bron should have come to the Chi
but his moms already had her spot on Calle Ocho to do her thang in SoBe...I'm Laker for life.
D-Wade/Bosh/Bron is good on paper after that they got nothing but I heard my man Rony Seikaly is coming BACK!!!
How much Mario Chalmers gonna get for that #6 or is he gonna go Delonte Ghost?
They burnin #23 jerseys in Cleve right NOW!!!!
oh yeah...in REALLER basketball news:
ReplyDeleteMel Turpin found dead at 49
Thu Jul 08,2010 8:15 PM ETBy John Krolik
The Associated Press is reporting that Mel Turpin was found dead in his Lexington, Kentucky home on Thursday. The reported cause of Turpin's death was suicide. Turpin was 49 years old.
Turpin was a star at Kentucky, and was taken 6th overall in the legendary 1984 NBA draft. In five seasons with the Cavaliers, Jazz, and Washington Bullets, Turpin averaged 8.5 points and 4.6 rebounds per game.
@Don
ReplyDeleteThanks Bruh and NY Knicks gets No Luv Here... Chi-Town LUV Here **LOL**

Lakers winning another RING next year
@WMS
Pat Riley don't coach, Miami gets NO RING *LOL*
Yes LAKERS ALL-THE-WAY BABAY !!!!!
And appreciate the Mel Turpin news (Real...)
I rememeber MJ jumping OVER HIM for a Classic Dunk (RIP to Big Turp...)
@east
ReplyDeleteThey going to DEFINITELY Rule the East but 5 in a Row ?!!? The Laker Fan-n-Supporter IN ME says Hell-to-the-NAW !!! **LOL**
But if they make it to NBA Finals then ANYTHING'S Possible... D-Wade can win you 1 Game By Himself and LeBron is the ONLY ONE who can get you 2 Games BY HIMSELF (Just Being Real...)
E, I gotta echo the other brothas on the layout. This shit is cold blooded. Nice commentary on Bron too, man. The Shy was definitely the place that made most sense for him to go, man. Check this out though. On April 10th, not even 3 months ago, this nigga said:
ReplyDeleteI GOT A GOAL, AND IT'S A HUGE GOAL. AND THAT'S TO BRING A CHAMPIONSHIP HERE TO CLEVELAND, AND i WON'T STOP UNTIL I GET IT..."
Here's the link for the interview (nbatv)

-LL Cool J
Oooh, I love it in here, E!
ReplyDeleteDidnt I say he was going to Miami?
LOL@Snitches *as I workout and head to South Beach*
No honor amongst thieves! LOL
Cannot believe King James took the easy way out. Who would have imagined that he would shun both New York and Chicago to play with a team that has no diehard basketball fans.
ReplyDeleteUnreal.
Did you read Cavs owner insane letter to fans? Hahahaha.
@BeeGee
ReplyDeleteYeah I REMEMBER that and I just took it as The Company-Line of a Top executive speaking to inquiring minds-n-admirers with the captive audience BEING the Hard-Core NBA followers **LOL**
I TRULY believe that LBJ thought he was going to get that RING and then BOUNCE... So he was kinda FEELING Himself and made that Ridiculously Profound Statement (Real...)
@DaShit
You don't have to be around those Plastic Girls on South Beach... You can bring All THAT Sunshine to The CHI !!! *LOL*
@Snitches
MOS DEF !!!!!
@Don
Danny-BOY is the Epitome of WHITE TRASH...
And I THINK the Groupie-n-Entourage Aspects that attached themselves to THESE Mega Superstar Athletes severely clouds their vision to the REAL Knowledgeable & Die-hard Cities of Basketball Fans ...
ME THINKS Sincere-Friendship ALONG WITH the NBA wanting a Much BIGGER Global Exposure RIGHT NOW drove this formation of a NBA Superstar team being in Miami aka South-Beach Hollywood (Real...)
@Da shit
ReplyDeleteIf you go to South Beach, i'm going wit u!
